Terrace at Blue Hour Printed Woven Blanket

Lit windows punctuate deep blue arches and steps on this printed woven blanket. Terracotta planters and olive-green leaves gather around an imagined courtyard, set against a twilight-blue field.

The small windows are the places the eye returns to. Around them, the archways and stairs suggest paths through the scene without identifying a real address. The warm planters keep the architecture from becoming a single dark shape, giving the composition a balance of evening blues and earthy color.

Drape it over the back of a sofa where the whole courtyard can be seen, or let part of the picture appear in the folds of a chair-side throw. The broad architectural shapes give you several ways to bring the blues and terracotta into the room. Its woven texture stays part of the surface beneath the printed scene.

This version is made from polyester, with the artwork dye-sublimated onto the front. Fringed edges extend the textile beyond the image. Choose the 46 x 56-inch portrait layout for an upright courtyard, or the 56 x 46-inch landscape layout for a wider arrangement. These are two proportions of the same design; choose the one you want to display.
