Ribbon Turn 10-Inch Plate

Three painted ribbon bows turn around the face of this 10-inch plate. Coral and cobalt gather toward the left, balanced by a golden bow on the right. Their unequal loops and loose ends leave a quiet ivory center, so the design has movement without filling every part of the circle.

Let the bows set the place

The composition gives one place setting a color-led focal point, or brings a small flourish to a table of simpler pieces. These are illustrated ribbons printed on a polymer plate; the shadows and folds belong to the picture.
