Sleeping Mountains Wall Pennant

Layered mountain ridges descend toward the pointed end of this wall pennant. Deep blue slopes fill the foreground, with plum and rose peaks rising into an evening sky and a small crescent moon above them.

The broad bands of color make the landscape's depth part of the hanging's shape. Your eye moves from the open sky to the overlapping slopes, then down to the dark lower point. It is a way to bring a mountain subject to a narrow wall without needing a wide landscape format.

Sleeping Mountains measures 21 inches high and 18 inches wide. The printed polyester has hemmed edges and hangs from a wooden dowel with twine. Try it beside a reading chair or above a small side table, where the pointed silhouette has room beneath it.
