Estuary Channels Bath Towel

Branching blue channels pass between pale sandbanks on the printed face of this bath towel. Seen from above, the imagined estuary becomes an arrangement of long curves, narrow branches and open stretches of shore.

The design follows the towel's length rather than placing a small landscape in its center. A broad channel gives the eye a route through the scene, with smaller waterways splitting away beside it. It offers a waterside subject through the shape of the land, without turning the towel into a map of a named destination.

Estuary Channels measures 60 × 30 inches and has a polyester face with a cotton back.
