Tools Down. Tea On. Enamel Mug

A broad paintbrush and a sharpened pencil cross warm orange and muted teal paint marks on Tools Down. Tea On. The illustration gives this 12 fl oz enamel mug a maker's version of a tea break.

The two short lines of handwritten-style lettering make the pause explicit. A longer first line sets down the tools; the shorter second line turns to tea. On the illustrated side, the brush and pencil remain the main shapes, with the loose paint marks bringing color to the pale background.

The design reads

Tools Down. Tea On.

You might keep it near a sketchbook or give it to someone whose table often holds a pencil and a half-finished project. That is the setting suggested by the design; the mug is a 12 fl oz stainless steel cup with an enamel coating and a rounded stainless steel rim.
